ASSISTANT MANAGER - SERVICES
The role of the Assistant Service Manager is to support the clinical
governance of the Cork Service. Reporting directly to the Lead
Therapist, this role ensures quality in service delivery and
consistency in approach.
LOCATION: Cork
POSITION TYPE: Full-time / Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (on call every
second Saturday from 9am-2pm)

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Wait list management and reporting against KPIs using Tableau;
agreeing actions and initiatives to support achieving KPIs etc.
* Monitoring and following up on therapist calendar's & their
availability. Ensuring skillsets are up to date
* Case Management
* Approve timesheets for all therapists & Centre Administrators Send
HLP report to payroll
* As part of Wait List management attend weekly meetings with RSC
* Ensure client files are closed off correctly & manage the
reconciliation report
* Liaise with Regional Support Coordinator and Lead Therapist for
appropriate allocation of clients and waiting lists
* Attend & support monthly team meetings with Lead Therapist
* Meet daily with Lead Therapist to review issues arising & agree
actions to address same
* GDPR compliance
* People management in relation to Centre Administrators &
therapists in the absence of Lead Therapist
* Where required support Lead Therapist with performance management
and individual management support meetings
* Oversee CA's training, inductions, rostering and record completion
* Approve leave requests as signed off by Lead Therapist via
Salesforce
* Oversee file management in-line with GDPR, data protection and
confidentiality in the Centre. Oversee Datascan duties.
* Act as a Pieta Representative in the local community as required
and agreed by Lead Therapist
* Consult and collaborate with Lead Therapist
* Escalate areas of concern to Lead Therapist
* Implement all policies and procedures and monitor and ensure
compliance by all staff
* Work closely with operations department to ensure Health & Safety
compliance in centres/with staff
* Work within an agreed budget
* Complaints Management in collaboration with Lead Therapist
* Absence Management in collaboration with Lead Therapist
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
* A third level degree or equivalent in Health or Social Care
Management
* Experience in a similar management role, with minimum 3 years
management experience
* Proficient in using Microsoft Office?Suite
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience of working with a broad cross section of staff and
professionals, across agencies/communities
* Be interested in and demonstrate a belief and enthusiasm for the
work of Pieta
* Experience with databases an advantage (e.g., Salesforce CRM)
